I have been teaching people to drive buses and coaches as well as cars since 1990, (currently I only teach cars).
While teaching buses and coaches I worked for a national bus operator and was involved in formulating training solutions both locally and nationally.
I only use quality modern easy to drive manual cars fitted with dual controls so you learn in safety and comfort.
While the pace you learn at is driven by you, I will aim to teach you to reach the standard to pass your driving test and to become a safe driver within the time-span that we agree.
Yes, if you want to pass in days, weeks or a few months anything is possible subject to the availability of theory tests and practical driving tests.
Fully Qualified Instructor ADI - When looking for an instructor always ask if they are fully qualified most of the larger driving schools use part qualified instructors as well as fully qualified ones.
They don't normally tell you they are trainee instructors which means you are paying them while they learn!!! (ask them what colour their ADI licence is Green is Fully Qualified while Red/Pink indicates that they are a Trainee the licence must be displayed in the windscreen of the car).
Very Experienced (over 18 years) - As with many things in life you can't beat experience. I have driven various types of vehicles over the years from cars to buses/coaches and trucks. For 15 years I taught professional drivers to drive buses and coaches. This experience I bring to my lessons.
Friendly Patient - Driving lessons should be fun and informative allowing you to develop your skills in a safe environment. You have probably heard stories from friends of instructors who shout at them!!!!! I do not shout at anyone at anytime, I can control the lesson without shouting I treat everyone with the same as I would like to be treated.
High Pass Rates - Unfortunately it's not possible for everyone to pass first time, although I strive to maintain and improve on my pass rates.
There are driving schools that claim 90% or even 100% pass rates!!!!
Remember if it sounds to good to be true......then it probably is to good to be true!!!
Currently Telford Driving Test Centre web site states the pass rate for the centre for 2008-2009 is 45.55%
