I'm John Copland. I have been involved in driver training most of my working life. I had the honour and privilege to lead the award winning Strathclyde Police Young Driver Project for several years. The project was aimed at reducing the disproportionate high level of fatal and serious injury accidents involving young drivers. Through this involvement I understand the need to provide quality training for new drivers not just to pass a driving test but to be properly trained to cope with the demands of modern driving conditions.
I have established my driving school in my home town of Cumbernauld where I am suitably situated to provide driving lessons in the surrounding area including Airdrie, Coatbridge, Kilsyth, Bonnybridge, Falkirk and Stirling.
My instructor training was carried out with Learner Driving Centres(LDC)who continueto provide me with a quality support system which enables me to use modern, up to date teaching methods and user friendly materials.
In-car I provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with just the right amount of humour while staying completely focussed on my pupils needs, ensuring that they finish each lesson in a positive frame of mind.
